Veronica Beard, the American fashion brand founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard, has unveiled an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with French artist Thomas Lélu. The collection, dropping on Tuesday, features a unique blend of Lélu's iconic wit and Veronica Beard's signature style. The six-piece lineup includes T-shirts with thought-provoking messages like 'Why not? Life is short' and 'Bad decisions make good stories,' as well as a cardigan with a delicate embroidery of 'Stress doesn’t go with my outfit' and a hand-painted bag. Swanson Beard discovered Lélu's work on Instagram last fall, captivated by the artist's powerful simplicity. She reached out for a collaboration the next day, impressed by the witty and ironic quotes that perfectly align with the brand's spirit. Lélu's words, ranging from Smythson notebooks to Autry sneakers and W Hotels merchandise, have become synonymous with the brand's image. The artist describes the Veronica Beard woman as a 'superwoman,' active, high-achieving, and stylish, embodying the quintessential working girl and icon. The capsule collection, priced between $128 for a canvas mini tote and up to $598 for the cashmere cardigan, will be available at Veronica Beard stores worldwide and on the brand's e-commerce site.
