While the Giants initially seemed content with their pitching rotation, whispers in the baseball world suggest a potential comeback for Justin Verlander. Joel Reuter from Bleacher Report has even predicted that the 42-year-old right-hander might be headed back to San Francisco on a short-term contract.
Now, it's always wise to approach rumors with a healthy dose of skepticism, but this one certainly piques interest. It feels like a move the Giants might make. And honestly, it wouldn't be the worst idea, depending on the financial details, of course.
